Services

Acknowledgment

An acknowledgment is the most common notarial act - I verify your identity, witness your signature, and confirm you're signing of your own free will. This is required on a wide range of documents including deeds, powers of attorney, loan documents, and contracts. If you're not sure whether your document needs an acknowledgment, bring it along and I'll take a look.

Jurat

A jurat is used when a document requires a sworn statement - you sign in my presence and take an oath or affirmation that the contents are true. Common examples include affidavits, sworn declarations, and certain court filings. I'll administer the oath and complete the notarial certificate to make your document legally valid.

Oath / Affirmation

Sometimes a document or legal proceeding requires a verbal oath or affirmation without a written signature - I'm authorized to administer both. An oath invokes a solemn promise; an affirmation is a non-religious alternative that carries the same legal weight. This service is often requested for depositions, court-related matters, and official proceedings.

Certified Copies / Copy Certification

Need a verified copy of an important document? I can certify that a photocopy is a true and accurate reproduction of the original. This is commonly used for passports, diplomas, business records, and other personal documents. Note that state laws vary on which documents can be copy-certified - I'll confirm eligibility at the time of your appointment.

Remote Online Notarization (RON)

Remote online notarization lets you get documents notarized from anywhere via a secure live audio-video connection - no in-person meeting required. I'm an authorized RON provider and use compliant platforms to handle your notarization remotely. This is a great option for clients who are out of state, traveling, or simply prefer the convenience of signing from home.

Hospital / Bedside Notarizations

When a patient needs documents notarized and can't leave the hospital, I come to them. I handle bedside notarizations with care, compassion, and discretion - understanding that timing is often critical in these situations. Please call ahead so I can coordinate with nursing staff and arrive fully prepared.

Prison / Jail Notarizations

I'm available to provide notary services at correctional facilities for incarcerated individuals who need documents notarized. I'll coordinate with facility staff in advance to ensure a smooth visit. Please contact me with the facility name and location so I can make the necessary arrangements.

Care Facility / Nursing Home Notarizations

Residents of assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and memory care communities often need documents notarized for estate planning, powers of attorney, and other important matters. I come directly to the facility and work respectfully with both residents and staff. Please note that I will assess the signer's awareness and willingness to sign at the time of the appointment.

Wedding Officiant

I am a licensed wedding officiant available for ceremonies of all sizes - from intimate courthouse signings to full celebrations. I'll work with you to create a ceremony that reflects your relationship and ensures your marriage is legally solemnized. Contact me to check availability for your date.

Print / Copy / Scan

I can print, copy, and scan documents as part of your appointment - helpful if you need additional copies of notarized documents or need to submit paperwork electronically. Fees may apply for printing and copying based on the number of pages.

Courier / Document Delivery

Need your completed documents picked up, dropped off, or delivered after notarization? I offer courier services to get your paperwork where it needs to go - whether that's your attorney's office, a title company, or a government agency. Travel and delivery fees may apply based on distance.

A notary public is commissioned by the state to witness signatures and administer oaths. A notary signing agent has additional training specifically for handling loan and mortgage document packages.

Cancellations made with adequate notice are typically fee-free. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a trip fee to cover travel time and expenses.

An apostille is a certification that authenticates a notarized document for use in foreign countries that are party to the Hague Convention. The apostille itself is issued by the state, but a notary can prepare and notarize your document to begin that process.
